National Dialogue: Urhobo youths commend Jonathan Urhobo youths, under the aegis of Urhobo Youth Forum, UYF has commended President Goodluck Jonathan over the proposed National Dialogue/Conference, saying it would help members of the country to critically examine various problems threatening the collective oneness and unity of the country. The group in a statement signed by Mr. Friday Udumebraye Togbe, National President, Comrade Ejoroghene Ibukavwe, National Secretary and Comrade Kenneth Ichide, Chief Organizer stated that Nigeria doesn’t need a soothsayer to tell her if she needs a national conference. The statement reads, “it is obvious that we don’t need a soothsayer to tell us the truth that the nation is not at peace with herself and each ethnic group or nationality feels unsatisfied or rather marginalized in the present political equation of the Nigeria state, thus the need for a national dialogue.“ The Urhobo nation today, is the most marginalized group yet a major contributor of wealth that sustain Nigeria. The UYF call on other groups and eminent Nigerians to support Mr. President whom has showed sincerity with the Nigeria project for calling for a national dialogue and as demonstrated it with the composition of a 13 man advisory committee to tinker the idea of the national conference”.
