THEY NEED OUR HELP

Its been a crazy journey ,but so far its been worth it. After being arrested ,brutally handled by the police, beaten, called horrible names, threatened and so many other horrible things that transpired ,as the day went by there, in the cell, all I could notice and observe was how many innocent people are thrown into the police custody, abandoned ,brutally treated like criminals,

regardless of what their offences may be ,am not here to say there are no criminals, armed robbers , prostitutes, murderes, rapist, launderes, all am saying is that there are so many people in there, who have no voice, no one to speak for them, or money to even grant them bail. Funny how they say ,bail is free, met a couple of people who have been there, night after night, because they are unable to provide funds for their bail, and they have been kept there to rot . Its hard enough when you have been betrayed by that family you grew to trust, by that friend you shared things with, called brother or sister ,that neighbour you thought had your back, that pastor you consider as your spiritual head and tell your every problem and story to, that lecturer , that colleague ,that business partner, that auncle , aunty, that trader that you call your neighbour,in the market place. The truth be said, as horrifying as the experience can be, and having a terrible IPO like Chioma like every other IPO in Rumuepirikom police Station,who is more interested in the party that can provide more money and bribe accordingly , being innocent in there, is real torture. It’s a lasting trauma, that even when you have been released ,those thoughts keep playing in your head. And all you keep thinking of is, IT DIDN’T JUST HAPPEN TO YOU, ITS HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD IT SO MUCH WORSE These people need our help. Helping a person today is like winning a soul and always remember to save a life is to save the world ….xoxo!!! ome
