Addressing reporters at the weekend in Abuja, Northern Regional Operations Manager, MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, Mr. Olalekan Ismail Lanrewaju, said that the leading premium pay-TV provider on DSTV, GOtv mobile and online platforms will reward 60 of its subscribers through its monthly ‘Let’s Go to Brazil promo’ which has begun with the unveiling and presentation of prizes to its first batch of winners.
While presenting prizes to winners from the northern region at the company’s corporate office in Abuja, Lanrewaju said the promo which is also aimed at giving support to the Super Eagles, is part of the company's reward to its loyal subscribers who have been part of MultiChoice’s 20 years of success story and existence in Nigeria. He said the company’s ‘Let’s Go to Brazil’ initiative is a continuation of the company’s resolve to extend more rewards to its loyal customers, 60 of whom will in 2014 be taken to iconic cities in Brazil and world-class studios of the telenovella channel, Telemundo, among other exciting features of the trip. The 60 winners he added will be in Brazil to have fun, watch all Eagles matches as long as the country’s flag bearers remain in the competition. To qualify for the monthly draw, he said that interested members of the public are encouraged to take advantage of the reward scheme through the purchase of a DSTV decoder, dish and one month subscription on the DSTV family bouquet for N15, 500, instead of the N27,000, the purchase of a Walka 7 hand held device at a cost of N18,900. Speaking on behalf of the other winners, an estate surveyor and CEO/MD of Geofix System, Mr. Ade Joseph Medupin, said: “I am still in awe at what MultiChoice is doing here today. When I first got the call that I won an all-expense paid to Brazil courtesy of DStv, I had my reservations and doubts but today all my fears have been allayed. I am full of appreciation and on behalf of my fellow winners here. I thank MultiChoice for their generosity.” The other lucky winners in the December draw include: Buba Hayatu, Tony Muoneke, and Jonathan Angulu won return tickets to Brazil while Mustapha Mohammed got DStv Explora as consolation for missing out of the big prizes
