Hollywood actress Kerry Washington is married to retired Nigerian NFL player Nnamdi Asomoghua. It’s obvious her husband is rubbing off on her as the petite actress went on her Facebook page to wish her fans a Happy New Year in Igbo language.

The Igbo phrase translted to English means “May your year go without mishap”.

The couple — Kerry and Nnamdi are expecting a child together.
