Premier League leaders Chelsea’s title were unable to extend their lead at the top as their quest gets a bump at the Hawthorns after a late West Brom equaliser forced them to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Ivanovic volleyed home a corner on the stroke of half-time to give Jose Mourinho’s men a goal lead at the break.
But the Blues came under increasing pressure in the last 20 minutes and Victor Anichebe placed home a smart header with only three minutes left of normal time.
The result puts them Chelsea just 2 and 3 points respectively above Arsenal and Manchester City, both of which play tomorrow, while West Brom are out of the relegation zone
