SERIOUS FIRE OUTBREAK AT MILE ONE MARKET PORT-HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE

Mile One market in Port harcourt currently on fire. The fire which was said to have begun at the early hours of today Tues,Dec 17 as at 2am,has completely engulfed the two storey building and is still to be contained by the fire service, which arrived much later at the scene. As at now I can say there has been no report of loss of life,but property worth millions have been consumed and destroyed by the fire. Tons of individuals have come out in their numbers, mostly the traders and others who live close by,as they watch,so many in tears. It seems the fire is not the only problem in Port-harcourt,as there was also shooting in mile 3 as at 4:48am this morning. I use this medium to appeal to everyone to be careful. Government authorities and anyone who could help salvage the situation, should please head to the scene.
